| Day 1 | We’ll depart this morning for our holiday getaway adventure. We motor north through Ohio and into southern Michigan before coming to rest in Adrian, our overnight destination. We’ll refresh at the hotel before enjoying an included dinner. After dinner we arrive at The Croswell Opera House, in operation since 1866 with a strong reputation for presenting quality musicals and plays with the help of hundreds of local artists and talented musicians. The musical, MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS is a rare treasure in the musical theatre. Full of heartwarming sentiments and song, you'll join the Smith family of St. Louis, Missouri on the eve of the 1904 World's Fair, and see how their love and respect for each other is tempered with the genuine humor that can only be generated by such a special family. Memorable musical numbers include Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas ,The Trolley Song, and The Boy Next Door. D |
| Day 2 | After an included continental breakfast at the hotel we depart for our return trip home. Later this morning we will arrive in Archbold, Ohio at the Candy Cane Christmas Shoppe. Once a school building with a gymnasium, stage, 4 classrooms and a kitchen, the Candy Cane is now beautifully renovated into a Grand Christmas Room, The Bethlehem Corner, The Kids Room, The Den, The Twigs N'Trees Room and The Coffee/Tea Room with sitting area. After browsing and shopping we will include lunch in Archbold before setting our sights toward home. Plan to arrive back early evening with grand memories of a truly “sentimental journey” with your friends from Croswell VIP motorcoach! B,L |
