We will make a stop at the Dickens Welcome Center and Ye Ole Curiosity Shoppe, a favorite place for reminiscing. Next stop will be the National Museum of Cambridge Glass. Stroll through the museum decorated for the holidays, led by first person interpretive guides dressed in Victorian clothing and representing actual employees. Dinner will be a traditional Old English buffet with all the trimmings at the Francis Family Restaurant. This evening we will be part of “The Trial of the Century of Ebenezer Scrooge”. A year after his miraculous transformation, Ebenezer Scrooge is back to his old ways and is suing Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future for breaking and entering, kidnapping, slander, pain and suffering, attempted murder and the intentional infliction of emotional distress. When all is said and done we will be reminded that the spirit of caring and giving should be every day, not just once a year. D |
