Description: 3 Days - 2 Nights - 4 Meals It was Christmas Eve in 1895 when George Vanderbilt welcomed family and friends to his newly completed 250-room mansion for what was perhaps the most incredible Christmas celebration they had ever seen. Today, Christmas at Biltmore is still one of the most astonishing holiday celebrations you will ever experience.

Day 1 We depart this morning for our drive to the lovely Blue Ridge Mountains and Smoky Mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. After your late afternoon arrival we check in at our hotel for the next two nights. A delightful dinner is included in the tour at a favorite local restaurant. D
Day 2 An included breakfast gets us started this morning. Today you’ll see a bit of Asheville, considered one of the most popular mountain resorts in the east. We’ll include a visit to the Folk Art Center and Biltmore Village, then time for shopping, browsing, or relaxing in the afternoon. This evening enjoy a full course traditional holiday buffet at the Deerpark Restaurant on the Biltmore Estate grounds. After dinner you’ll experience the ambiance of the grand home during a Candlelight Christmas Tour. Holiday music will fill the halls. The house is filled with more than 35 magnificent Christmas trees, hundreds of wreaths and poinsettias, and over 10,000 feet of evergreen swags. In the Banquet Hall, a tree nearly 40 feet tall is laden with Victorian ornaments. B, D
Day 3 An included breakfast begins our day. We’ll return to Biltmore and see the grounds, as well as visit the Winery. We’ll begin our journey homeward. B
