Day 1 Our getaway adventure begins with our drive to Louisville where we will board the Mary Miller Steamboat and enjoy a guided sightseeing and luncheon cruise. After our cruise, we will include the fascinating and unique Muhammad Ali Center. For over 50 years Ali has remained a magical figure known and loved throughout the world. The Ali Center appeals to the heart, spirit, imagination, and speaks to the areas of personal growth, integrity and respect for others. Late afternoon, we will check into the lovely Drury Hotel for our evening. Enjoy the kick-back reception and hotel amenities. Tonight, transportation will be provided to Caesar’s Casino Resort for those who wish to try their luck. L
Day 2 A delicious breakfast will begin our day. After check out we will tour the Kentucky Derby Museum. Then we will arrive at the Derby Dinner Playhouse in Indiana just across the Ohio River from Louisville. Enjoy a delicious luncheon and “NEWSIES”, a smash-hit Broadway musical filled with one heart-pounding, high-energy dance number after another! Adapted from the Disney film, this rousing tale is based on the true story about New York City’s newsboys striking against unfair working conditions. This afternoon we’ll travel back to Ohio, refreshed after a great little spring getaway. B,L
