| Day 1 | This morning we board our Croswell Deluxe Motorcoach and set our sights for the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. We’ll check in to our hotel for the evening. Dinner will be included in Charlottesville, always a favorite. D |
| Day 2 | After an included Continental breakfast this morning we will visit Monticello, home of Thomas Jefferson, and considered to be one of the finest estates in America. Then we depart for our drive to Jamestown, the first permanent English-speaking settlement in North America. The little band of men that settled here were the industrious sort, producing glass in 1608, introducing the first commercial tobacco cultivation in 1612, and establishing this country’s first governing body in 1619. We’ll have a chance to board the ships in which these men first braved the open seas – the Susan Constant, Godspeed and Discovery, and we’ll experience life as it was in the old days of the colony. Then we check in to our hotel in Williamsburg, Virginia, for our two-night stay. Relax, unwind from our travels, and enjoy the amenities of the hotel. Dinner is included at a local buffet restaurant. | Day 3 | After an included breakfast, we look forward to a great day of touring Colonial Williamsburg. This day is dedicated to exploring this 18th century restored capital of Virginia. You will walk the streets where Washington, Jefferson, Patrick Henry and many other great Americans strolled. Nearly a mile in length, the colonial area includes 88 original buildings, shops and homes which have been preserved and restored to their former appearance. We’ll return to the hotel to refresh before dinner. Tonight you are in for a real treat. After your included dinner you’ll head to a Colonial Williamsburg evening performance. B, D |
| Day 4 | After our included breakfast we depart for home. We’re sure that you will be glad you experienced this walk into America’s past! B |
