| Day 1 | Let’s depart this morning heading north towards Michigan. Tonight we will overnight in Gaylord, a city that maintains the atmosphere of an Alpine Village. Dinner will be included this evening at the Sugar Bowl, one of Michigan’s oldest family-owned restaurants. D |
| Day 2 | Depart this morning for our drive to Mackinaw City. First we will stop en route at the Cross in the Woods near Indian River. The Cross in the Woods has attracted millions of visitors from around the world and is one of Michigan’s best known and loved monuments. After our visit here we will head north to board the ferry for our cruise to Mackinac Island. Upon arriving on the island, spend the remainder of the afternoon enjoying the Lilac Festival. After checking in to our Island hotel, dinner will be included. B, D |
| Day 3 | After an included breakfast buffet, we’ll board fringe-topped carriages for a tour of Mackinac Island, including Arch Rock, Fort Holmes and Fort Mackinac. We will be dropped off for a luncheon at the opulent Grand Hotel! Afterwards, enjoy the activities of the Lilac Festival as well as time for shopping and exploring. Dinner is again included in tour this evening at the Island House. B, L, D |
| Day 4 | Breakfast is included in tour this morning, then we bid farewell to the island and head south to the quaint Bavarian Village of Frankenmuth where we’ll have time for shopping and exploring. We’ll include a guided tour as well. Dinner is again included in tour this evening, this time at the delicious Bavarian Inn. B, D |
| Day 5 | This morning after checkout we will visit Bronner’s, America’s largest display of Christmas decorations. Then we depart for our drive home. Plan to arrive home early evening after a delightful and restful visit to Mackinac at Lilac time! B |
