Day 1 Depart early this morning and head south to Memphis, Tennessee. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel for the next two nights. The evening will be on your own.
Day 2 Breakfast is included before touring begins. You begin the day with a visit to Elvis Presley’s Graceland. Step back in time as you are witness to the exuberant lifestyle of “The King of Rock ‘n Roll”. You will visit the famous Trophy Building which houses his huge collection of gold and platinum records and awards, see his extensive collection of custom jets, and view Elvis’ 22 vehicles from luxury limited editions to sporty super cycles. Elvis loved vehicles of all kinds! This afternoon you will head into downtown Memphis to the Memphis Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum. Learn about Elvis Presley, Otis Redding, B.B. King, Jerry Lee Lewis and many others. Dinner is included this evening. B, D
Day 3 Breakfast is included before a local guide joins you for an exciting tour of this historic river town - Memphis. Your tour includes the famous Peabody Marching Ducks that reside at the Peabody Hotel and more. This afternoon you will visit Mud Island before departing for Jackson. Visit Casey Jones Village and enjoy dinner at Brook Shaw’s Old Country Store and Restaurant. Overnight in Jackson. B, D
Day 4 Breakfast is included this morning before departing for Nashville. En-route, a stop will be made at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch, to view a replica of her Butcher Holler home, the simulated coalmine, and plantation. Upon arrival into Nashville, you will visit the Country Music Hall of Fame before checking in to the Opryland Hotel. Dinner is included this evening. B,D
Day 5 After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we travel to Belmont University Campus, home of the beautiful Belmont Mansion. An Italianate-style villa, it was a summer home escape from the heat at her 8,400-acre Louisiana cotton plantation. The Acklens built, furnished, and landscaped one of the most elaborate antebellum homes in the South, with 36 rooms and 19,000 sq. ft. The estate contained an art gallery, conservatories, lavish gardens, aviary, lake and zoo. We will include a luncheon in the mansion’s elegant Grand Salon. This afternoon, enjoy a city tour of Nashville. Dinner is included at a local restaurant before a Friday evening performance at the Grand Ole Opry. B, L, D
Day 6 Breakfast is included at the hotel. This morning, we will include a visit to the Ryman Auditorium, a National Historic Landmark with roots in country music, followed by the General Jackson Luncheon Cruise, complete with lively entertainment. This evening, enjoy dinner and a show at the Nashville Nightlife Theatre. B, L, D
Day 7 Before departing Nashville this morning you are sure to enjoy another great tour highlight. Sunday Brunch at the opulent Opryland Hotel. There will be time for you to browse the shops and just take a look around this fabulous “city under one roof”. Plan to arrive back home early evening. Brunch
