Day 1: We depart this morning for our Christmas getaway. This afternoon check into the Blue Gate Garden Inn for our two-night stay. This is a delightful hotel that gets top ratings from its guests. After refreshing we depart for a wonderful evening. Our dinner will be an all-you-can-eat Family Style meal at the Blue Gate Restaurant featuring chicken and meatloaf with all the trimmings. After dinner we enjoy an all-new Musical…The Christmas Candy Caper at the Blue Gate Theatre. This hilarious musical will feature kidnappers, the police chief, the mayor, and an Amish Girl who cried wolf once too often! Then we travel along the Lights of Joy in our motorcoach. Return to the hotel after a memorable day. D
Day 2: After our breakfast, we will meet our guide for an Amish tour. After our included lunch we arrive for the Daniel O’Donnell Christmas Show! The Irish Tenor will be at his best as he sings the old Christmas favorites along with a few surprise songs along the way. This show is sure to put us all in the holiday mood! After the show we will return to the lovely Blue Gate Inn and enjoy our evening at leisure. B, L
Day 3: After our breakfast we will check out and depart for the Menno-Hof Museum. Enjoy a fascinating look at the lives of the Amish and the Mennonites. We then set our sights for home, with a stop at the Warm Glow Candle Outlet. Each Warm Glow candle is created by hand with meticulous care, giving each product a personal touch. Plan to arrive home early this evening with the fondest of memories of the Daniel O’Donnell Christmas show and more! B
