Holland, Michigan has been the Tulip Capital of the world for many years. Experience the Tulip Immersion Garden, with over 50,000 tulips of all varieties and colors to give you an experience that brings the tulips up to eye-level and creates photo opportunities for friends and family alike to enjoy! We will include seating to enjoy one of the most amazing parades you will ever see! Don’t miss the bus…there is so much to see, enjoy and remember on this fun-filled spring getaway!
Day 1: This morning we travel to Michigan’s Dutch Country! We will go straight to the Dutch Village for touring. This evening, enjoy dinner and entertainment before checking into the Hampton Inn, Holland, MI for a two-night stay. D
Day 2: After our included breakfast we enjoy a guided tour of Holland, the center of Dutch culture in America. A local guide in Dutch costume highlights the tulip-lined city streets, historic churches, charming neighborhoods, bustling downtown and more. Experience the Tulip Immersion Garden, view over 150,000 tulips on 36 acres of manicured gardens, dikes, canals and walking paths. We will also visit the Tulip Time Quilt Show. Authentic Dutch food is available for lunch on your own. This afternoon, enjoy an exciting Tulip Time parade. Seating is provided! Enjoy the evening at your leisure. B
Day 3: After breakfast, we will visit Windmill Islands with many tulips in bloom. Our final stop will be at Veldeer’s Tulip Garden & DeKlomp Wooden Shoe and Delftware Factory. See craftsmen carve wooden shoes on machines brought over from the Netherlands, as well as artists molding, hand painting, and glazing Delftware. This afternoon, we depart for home with fun-filled and springtime memories on this Tulip Time getaway! B, L
