This tour features both the “purple” Fields of Lupines and tracking Moose in their natural habitat. You have never seen New England quite like this before. In June, lupines adorn the fields and back roads of New Hampshire with beautiful blooms in shades of blue, purple, and pink with the occasional white or yellow. The Lupines’ June burst of color is a traditional area celebration. This tour also features an evening Moose Tour. On this real- life adventure, witness these gentle giants in their natural habitat.
Day 1: Today is the beginning of a great adventure! We travel through the rolling Ohio hills into the picturesque Pennsylvania countryside. We overnight near Syracuse, NY this evening.
Day 2: Departing this morning, we travel to Lincoln, NH, and the Mountain Club on Loon. Dinner is included this evening. B, D
Day 3: After an included breakfast, meet your local guide for a visit to the Lupines. The brilliant spikes of the lupine flower carpet local fields and pastures in a rolling sea of vibrant purples, pinks, blues, and whites. What a breathtaking floral display against the majestic backdrop of the Franconia, Presidential, and Kinsman Mountain ranges. Take advantage of these photo opportunities! A boxed lunch will be included today. This afternoon, enjoy a scenic ride to the summit of Mountain Washington, the Northeast’s Highest Peak. Dinner will be included this evening. B,L,D
Day 4: Today, we will meet our guide after our included breakfast. We will start our day at a very popular Christmas Tree Farm. Enjoy a Horse Drawn Wagon through the Christmas Tree fields. Lunch will be enjoyed at the Omni Mount Washington Luxury Hotel. We will also include self-guided touring of this historic hotel. Continue touring through the White Mountains this afternoon before returning to the hotel. Dinner is included before meeting our local moose tour guide. Your guide will take you on a real adventure – witnessing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. B,L,D
Day 5: After an included breakfast, we make our final stop at Fadden’s General Store, family owned and operated for over 120 years! Shop their selection of maple syrups and other souvenirs before we depart towards home. Our overnight stay will be in Syracuse, NY. B
Day 6: After breakfast, depart for home with fond memories of a great time together seeing beautiful New Hampshire and The Purple Moose! B
