Adults and children alike will delight in under-the-sea adventures at Georgia Aquarium, a backstage tour at the Chick fil a Headquarters and a chance to cheer on your Reds at Truist Park, and so much more. Don’t miss the bus for the exciting and family friendly look at one of the most fascinating cities in all the United States!
Day 1: We will enjoy our drive south today, arrive early evening and check into the Drury Inn for our three night stay. The Drury features a “Kick-Back Reception” with hot and cold food as well as beverages. They also have an indoor pool to be enjoyed at your leisure. KB
Day 2: After our included breakfast we will begin a full day of fun. This morning, our local guide will give us a city highlights tour. This afternoon we will enjoy the Chick-fil-A Office Backstage Tour. The 60-minute guided walking tour (tour encompasses approximately 1 mile of walking) features the story of its Founder, Truett Cathy, and gives you a behind-the-scenes look at Chick-fil-A. This evening, tickets are included to see the Cincinnati Reds take on the Atlanta Braves in amazing Truist Park. This ballpark features the largest canopy in baseball, so rain or shine, Play Ball! Each seat has been designed with maximized sightlines making every seat the “best in the house.” B
Day 3: This morning, we will experience the Georgia Aquarium which houses 120,000 animals. This is not a typo…the nation’s largest aquarium houses whale sharks, belugas, otters and penguins, just to name a few. We will complete this amazing day with a visit to Stone Mountain Park. Here we will take a Summit Skyride to the top of Stone Mountain, experience amazing views of the Carving, Atlanta Skyline and the Appalachian Mountains. We will return to the Drury Inn to enjoy the kick-back and evening at leisure. B, KB
Day 4: After breakfast we begin our journey homeward. Plan to arrive home this evening with great memories of a wonderful and fun experience in Atlanta! B
