A fireworks cruise is the best way to enjoy an exciting celebration of our Nation’s birthday. Other attractions will include the National Aquarium, B&O Railroad Museum, a guided tour that will include the birthplace of Babe Ruth and the final resting place of Edgar Allen Poe.  Don’t miss the bus for this exciting “First-Class Foodies and Fireworks” tour!

Day 1    We will depart bright and early for our drive to Baltimore and check into the lovely Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel for our three-night stay.  Enjoy a welcome reception upon arrival.   Our welcome dinner is at Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse, with all-you-can-eat meat carved tableside plus an extensive salad bar.  D

Day 2    After enjoying breakfast at the hotel we depart for the B&O Railroad Museum, exhibiting historic railroad equipment and originally opened on Independence Day, 1953. Have lunch on your own with time to enjoy the Inner Harbor before touring the National Aquarium.  This marvel of lighting, glass, sheer volume of water and sea life was the nation’s first public aquarium.  Then it’s time to enjoy the beginning of the July 4th Festivities kick-off in the Inner Harbor with food, fun activities, and a DJ.   A traditional performance by artists begins at the Inner Harbor Amphitheater.  Later at the hotel enjoy a patriotic 4th of July picnic where traditional American 4th of July favorites are served in a festive and fun atmosphere.  This evening we will board the Catherine Marie at Finger Piers for the annual Baltimore Fireworks Cruise! Enjoy the Baltimore skyline and spectacular Fourth of July fireworks from the best seat in town as you cruise the Inner Harbor.  Return to our hotel after the cruise. B, D

Day 3    Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing for the Visitor’s Center to pick up our guide for a Baltimore City Tour.  Baltimore is one of the country’s most interesting and eclectic cities.  Ever since Captain John Smith first explored the natural deep-water harbors of the Patapsco River, the city has played a critical role in America’s story.  On this tour, you’ll see the birthplace of baseball great Babe Ruth and final resting place of Edgar Allan Poe.  You’ll see America’s first Washington Monument and America’s first Catholic cathedral.  This afternoon visit Sagamore Spirit Distillery for tasting and tour before returning to the hotel to refresh.  Tonight’s dinner is included at Phillips Seafood Restaurant, the best of Baltimore’s seafood restaurants.  Return to the hotel to enjoy the remainder of the evening. B, D

Day 4    After breakfast we depart for our return trip home.  Plan to arrive this evening with memories and stories to share with family and friends. B
