Get out your cameras and be prepared to gawk at spectacular scenery and join us on this relaxing yet exhilarating journey to one of the most beautiful spots in the USA…the Adirondack Mountains and Lake George, New York. Lake George is located at the southern end of the famed Adirondack Park and is among the cleanest and clearest large lakes in the world! Join us to enjoy the Summer Splendor this area will share.
Day 1: We will depart bright and early this morning to begin our adventure. Today we will travel north and east into the state of New York and come to rest near Buffalo, NY. Enjoy the evening at your leisure.
Day 2: This morning after our included breakfast we depart for Lake George. Upon arrival we will check into our hotel for our three-night stay. After relaxing and getting acquainted with the hotel, we will include a delicious dinner this evening. B, D
Day 3: After our included breakfast we will meet our local guide for a sightseeing tour of Lake George and the surrounding area. Included on our tour will be a photo-stop at Prospect Mountain for a spectacular view of the Adirondacks. Next, we will enjoy a luncheon cruise on Lake George. Enjoy the dinner and evening at your leisure. B, L
Day 4: After breakfast we depart for a lovely day. Our first stop will be a fascinating look at the true Adirondack Experience as we tour the Museum on Blue Mountain Lake. Since 1957 this place has shared stories of the people who lived, worked, and played in Adirondack Park. The Museum, perched above Blue Mountain Lake, embodies the transformation of the Adirondacks from wilderness to mineral and lumber resource to resort community to recreation getaway. After our visit travel to Lake Placid with its majestic distant peaks and green rolling hills and a gorgeous town in the heart of it all. We will meet our step-on guide for an afternoon tour. Dinner will be included with time for strolling through downtown before returning to our hotel at Lake George. B, D
Day 5: After breakfast, we will visit Fort William Henry. Step back in time and experience life at a British fort in 1755. Watch live musket and cannon firings, play 18th Century games, and more. After our visit we will depart for our overnight stay near Buffalo. Dinner will be included this evening. B, D
Day 6 : Following breakfast we will set our sights for home after a wonderful summer spectacular tour to Lake George and more! B
