Join us this fall as we rediscover Nashville, Music City, U.S.A.! Loaded with rich history, diverse music and culture, Nashville is home of the opulent Gaylord Opryland Hotel and our two-night stay will be grand indeed. The General Jackson Showboat, the grandest showboat of them all will have you dancing in your seats as you enjoy a delicious dinner and relaxing cruise. A backstage tour of the Grand Ole Opry House will enthrall you… so Don’t Miss The Bus to Music City with us!
Day 1: We’ll travel south to Nashville, Tennessee, where we will experience a celebration of country music from both past and present. We’ll check into the opulent Opryland Hotel for our two-night stay. Enjoy a stroll through the incredible indoor tropical gardens, there are over 6,000 tropical plants and a six-story waterfall in the Cascades, Conservatory and Delta Gardens. Enjoy a ride on the Delta Riverboat while it travels down a scenic river winding through a 4.5-acre indoor garden. Take in the natural beauty while the guide shares facts about the Delta's plants and fish, & answers your questions about this beautiful Nashville resort and its many activities. A stay at the Opryland Hotel is always a stay to remember!
Day 2: After our included breakfast we join our local guide and tour the capital city and home to country music. The tour includes a ride by the State Capitol Building, the Parthenon, and Music Row to see the recording studios where the stars of yesterday and today record their hit songs. We will stop at Opry Mills where you can have your choice of places for lunch or enjoy some shopping before we return to the Opryland Hotel for some time to relax and refresh for this evening. Tonight, we will enjoy a fabulous dinner, entertainment and a 2-hour cruise on the Cumberland River aboard the authentic paddle wheeler, the General Jackson Riverboat. B, D
Day 3: After a leisurely breakfast we will check-out and take a backstage tour of the Grand Ole Opry House…a must see! We’ll walk in the footsteps of country music superstars and get an exclusive look behind the scenes. All too soon we must make our journey home, anxious to tell our friends and families about this fun-filled and entertaining Music City Showboatin’ Tour! B
